Fast and Deep Degreasing of Metal Surfaces with CS 102 E

CS 102 E is an alkaline electrolytic degreasing solution that removes oil, grease,

particles, and light oxide residues during surface preparation of steel, cast iron, and certain non-ferrous metals. It can be applied as either a cathode or an anode.

It is used at a concentration of 2–5% by volume, at a temperature of 50–80 °C, and for a duration of 1–4 minutes.

Can it be used in aluminum and copper alloys?

Testing is recommended before use on aluminum. It should be used at low concentrations

in brass and copper.

What is the shelf life and what are the storage conditions?

The shelf life is 24 months. The product should be stored in its original packaging at temperatures between 5–35 °C.
