DORASEPT IODE 403-P
IODOPHORIC ACID DISINFECTANT CONCENTRATED VETERINARY AND LIVESTOCK ENVIRONMENT DISINFECTANT
DESCRIPTION
Dorasept 403-P is an advanced iodophor-based disinfectant formulated with phosphoric acid, providing superior cleaning and disinfection for veterinary and livestock environments. Its acid-iodine system delivers rapid, broad-spectrum microbiocidal activity, removing effective soil in the presence of organic matter. Dorasept 403-P ensures minimal residue, strong effectiveness, and synergistic action on surfaces, animal housing, water lines, and milking equipment.
KEY PROPERTIES
Dual-action system combining iodine’s oxidative kill with acidic cleaning power.
Highly effective against bacteria, fungi, and enveloped viruses.
Maintains activity under hard-water and organic-load conditions.
Suitable for spraying, foaming, dipping, and CIP (Clean-in-Place) applications.
Low-foam formulation designed for spraying, dipping, and CIP application.
Compatible with most materials including stainless steel and plastics.

APPLICATION METHOD
General Disinfection:
Dilute 1/200 – 1/100 depending on contamination level.
Tools & Equipment / CIP Systems:
Dorasept 403-P is fully compatible with Clean-in-Place (CIP) applications in livestock farms, dairy lines, and veterinary installations. Use warm water (35–55°C) and maintain continuous flow circulation for optimal cleaning and sanitizing performance. Prepare 1/150 solution; circulate for 15–30 minutes, then rinse.
High-Risk / Outbreak Disinfection:
Use 1/50 – 1/75 for 10 – 15 minutes.
Foot and Wheel Baths:
Apply 1/50 solution by dipping; renew when visibly soiled.
Foaming Applications:
Dorasept 403/P can also be applied using foam-generating equipment. Adjust the concentration to produce a stable and uniform foam layer, ensuring even coverage across all treated surfaces.
SANITIZING DIRECTIONS FOR VETERINARY AND LIVESTOCK EQUIPMENT
1. Veterinary Equipment and Contact Surfaces
For routine sanitization, prepare a 1/150 – 1/100 solution containing ≈ 200 – 300 ppm active iodine. Surfaces may be air-dried without rinsing or lightly rinsed as per facility protocol. This dilution ensures broad microbicidal efficacy while remaining non-corrosive.
2. Poultry Crates, Cages and Transport Equipment
Remove organic debris before application. Prepare 1/100 solution and apply by spraying or immersion. Ensure a minimum contact time of 10 minutes, then rinse or air-dry. Ventilate the area after application.
3. Tanks, Pipelines and Processing Equipment
Flush tanks, pipelines and milk lines to remove visible soil. Prepare Dorasept 403/P at 1/200 (0.5 %) – 1/100 (1 %) dilution. Allow circulation or static contact for 5 – 10 minutes. Rinse with potable water after treatment. For CIP loops or dairy collection circuits, maintain solution temperature at 45 – 55°C and verify active iodine levels (100 – 300 ppm).
NOTES
Optimum solution temperature: 20 – 45°C (45 – 55°C recommended for CIP cycles). Check active iodine levels regularly in recirculating systems. Maintain an active iodine concentration of 100 – 300 ppm for effective sanitization.
ADVANTAGES
Rapid microbial kill and effective scale removal in one operation. Maintains activity in hard water and organic matter. Compatible with stainless steel, plastics and rubber when used as directed. Leaves surfaces clean, odor-free and residue-free. Ideal for veterinary, farm biosecurity and dairy equipment maintenance.
STORAGE & PACKAGING
Store in a cool, dry place (5°C – 30°C), away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Keep container tightly closed after use.
Available packages: 1 L / 5 L / 30 L / 220 L.
Ideal for veterinary, farm biosecurity and dairy equipment maintenance.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Avoid direct contact with eyes or skin. Use protective gloves and goggles while handling. If in eyes; rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do; continue rinsing. Do not mix with alkaline or chlorinated products. Dispose of contents and containers in accordance with local regulations maintenance.
